General Fundraising:

Band-Aides, West and Shawnee Mission West Band have a number of fundraisers throughout the year to raise money to provide many educational and administrative items to our band students and staff.

Our general fundraisers are:

The Spaghetti Dinner or Pancake Breakfast is usually held on a Saturday in October or November.  Refer to Home page and Band calendar. In addition to a catered spaghetti dinner and home-made desserts,or the pancake breakfast, the event features a silent auction and performances by the jazz bands. You can find how you can help by using Charms and/or seek donations using the form down below under Fundraising Forms.

The Chili Supper is usually held on Saturday in February. This supper includes homemade chili and chili dogs. The concert bands, jazz bands and percussion ensemble perform throughout the evening.

The "MEGA" car wash is usually held after band camp and around the start of the school year during those hot summer days. The band consistently washes well over 400 cars in each of three locations, including fire trucks from area stations! Lots of fun!

Where possible, the money that you generate from the fundraising activities will be deposited directly to the student's account. For group activities, like Dining Out, the funds raised will be split evenly among all students. Remember that parents need to sign a fundraising policy form (below) before any money can be credited to a student's account.
