Hello, Shawnee Mission West Band Students!  

You will need to get your instrument and get signed up online for the final quarter classes. Please complete both requests so we can get back in action with the band!

Instrument Pickup from Shawnee Mission West

I need to know who needs to pick up instruments from the band room – your personal or school-owned.  If possible, we would like everyone to have their instrument at home.   We are going to try to do some playing!  Percussion, if you do not have a snare or bell kit at home, we will pass out what we have for you. 

Please see your email for the Google Form to fill out to request the pickup of your instrument. This will prevent us from losing emails, etc. The school has been “deep cleaned” and is ready to greet us SAFELY in small numbers at a specific time that I will provide you later this week.

Online Classroom Access

Google Classroom – Everyone needs to join the appropriate Shawnee Mission West Band Google Classrooms. Please see your email for the codes to join your band class. You can contact Mr. Thomas or the webmaster if you have misplaced the email or code.

Be looking for an email later about the possibility of saving the Flower Sale.

Please email Dr. Thomas with questions about the above information – billthomas@smsd.org.  We will be communicating later next week with preliminary plans to meet via WebX or Zoom so we can see each other.  We will also begin using Google Classroom for some things.  We hope you are all safe and sound!
