Please join us for the Shawnee Mission West Winter Band Concert! All of the Jazz and Symphonic bands will be playing; doors at 6:45, concert begins at 7PM.
The Shawnee Mission West Pride Bands invite you to our annual Pancake Breakfast concert and fundraiser! We are selling tickets ($8.00 early from your favorite band student - or at the door! Breakfast will be in the cafeteria; concerts will be in the gym - come for your favorite band or stay for all the bands! Schedule: 9:00a.m.-12:00p.m. Serving Line Open 9:00a.m. - Jazz Lab Band 9:30a.m. - 6th Grade Honor Band 10:00a.m. - Symphonic Band 10:30a.m. - Overland Express 11:00a.m. - Wind Ensemble Proceeds will go towards purchasing an equipment trailer for the band.
The Wind Ensemble will be playing in a District Wide concert at Shawnee Mission East - come out for some amazing music by all of our High School Students
The Symphonic Bands from across the district will be performing at Shawnee Mission Northwest - come out for some excellent music from all of our High School Band students!

We feature jazz bands from all the Shawnee Mission high schools, the Overland Express Alumni band, and the 2023 version of Overland Express will cap off the evening with special guest artist (and alumni) Brian Scarborough! Percussion Camp – 8a-4p in the band room. This is for all marching band percussionists. You may bring lunch and eat in the cafeteria, or you may go out with your new friends.
Student Staff Training Day for all Section Leaders and Drum Majors – 8a-4p. We will be playing and marching. Make sure you have your instruments and are prepared to go outside. We’ll start in the band room.
