It’s Louie Louie time!  The Lenexa Community Days Parade will be NEXT THURSDAY, JULY 4.  The Louie Louie Band is entry #4 in the parade.  All band students who have completed 9th grade band, plus all Band Alumni are welcome to join us! The Band will march from West to Thompson Park just outside of Downtown OP. Busses will return the students from OP Elementary to West.   All Marching Band members are expected to participate with the band, as teams tend to stand on a float.  While other teams are important, the band relies on formations and having everyone present to provide the support that is needed to “hype” the groups in a pep rally. Parents – you are invited to attend the parade.  You can join us along the route with hundreds of other parents between West and old downtown OP.   Bring […]
