New Date - Saturday, September 9th The Shawnee Mission West Marching Band is doing a fundraiser for various band activities. We'll be open from 9AM to 4 PM at each location - thanks to Ace Hardware for the use of their parking lot! The Band will march from West to Thompson Park just outside of Downtown OP. Busses will return the students from OP Elementary to West. All Marching Band members are expected to participate with the band, as teams tend to stand on a float. While other teams are important, the band relies on formations and having everyone present to provide the support that is needed to “hype” the groups in a pep rally.
