Louie Louie Band – July 4 2019

To band families and alumni— 2009 Louie Louie Band - photo courtesy The Churns Family It’s Louie Louie time! The Lenexa Community Days Parade will be NEXT THURSDAY, JULY 4. The Louie Louie Band is entry #4 in the parade. All band students who have completed 9th grade band, plus all Band Alumni are welcome to join us! Our staging location will be on 95th Street between Pflumm and Santa Fe Trail Drive. We’ll meet at 9:00 am in the lot of Crown Lift Trucks, 9500 Widmer. SM West Band at Graduation Tonight!

Call time is 6:15 at South Stadium to get set up and ready. We will begin playing shortly after 6:30. Dress nicely, similar to the Spring Concert. However, please note it is typically cool when the sun goes down. You will want long sleeves. Ladies, you will want something on your legs or a long dress or skirt. You will also not want to wear heels, maybe wedges, or you will sink into the turf.
