Shawnee Mission West Pride Band hosts Band Camp for our students and leaders before the start of the 2024/25 school year. West Pride Band Camp 2024 Percussion Camp – July 22-24 Student Staff – July 25 Rookie (first-time marchers, w/ student staff) Day – July 26 Full Band Camp – July 29-Aug. 2 All rehearsals are 8a-4p at West. The high is slated to be less than 80 when we break for lunch! Regardless, please bring water jugs with you, sunscreen and make sure to wear tennis shoes with socks. Hats are also a good precaution. Shawnee Mission West Pride Band hosts Band Camp for our students and leaders before the start of the 2024/25 school year. West Pride Band Camp 2024 Percussion Camp – July 22-24 Student Staff – July 25 Rookie (first-time marchers, w/ student staff) Day – July 26 Full Band Camp – July 29-Aug. 2 All rehearsals are 8a-4p at West. These are also listed on our Events page. This is such an important time as we learn all of our show and pregame music, along with a big chunk of our drill for the season. NEWS: The exhibition and ice cream social will take place indoors in the SM West Gymnasium! Marching Band Camp Monday!
Hello Marching Band! The time has come - we are all in camp starting tomorrow morning at 8:00a in the band room. I am so excited to see everyone. It looks like we will have great weather tomorrow. The high is slated to be less than 80 when we break for lunch! Regardless, please bring water jugs with you, sunscreen and make sure to wear tennis shoes with socks. Hats are also a good precaution.
