Hello Marching Band!
The time has come – we are all in camp starting tomorrow morning at 8:00a in the band room. I am so excited to see everyone. It looks like we will have great weather tomorrow. The high is slated to be less than 80 when we break for lunch! Regardless, please bring water jugs with you, sunscreen and make sure to wear tennis shoes with socks. Hats are also a good precaution.
When we break for lunch feel free to bring a lunch to eat in the cafeteria, or you may go with your new friends!
To make things more interesting and fun, the drum majors ahve organized some spirit (dress up) days and other games through the week. Here is a run down of the dress up days.
- Monochrome Monday
- Tropical Tuesday
- Barbenheimer Wednesday (pinks or black)
- Tie-dye/Neon Thursday
- Sports/Frat Friday
You’ll be competing/earning points as a section trying to earn a reward on Friday, So let’s go all out! Call/text your friends and let make sure everyone is joining in on the fun!
Make sure to bring your instrument, music, reeds, oil and anything else you need to rehearse with tomorrow. I’ve attached the schedule again in case you need it.
