NEW Marching Band Students - You will have Rookie Band Camp on Friday, July 28, 2023!! 8AM Arrival (be early) Lunch is provided by the BandAides West parent booster club! 4:00 PM Dismissal You will be outside the majority of the day; dress for the weather and bring water.
All Marching Students ; Band camp will be from 8AM until 4PM, Monday through Friday 7/31 to 8/4. You will be outside. Dress accordingly for the weather. Lunch will be on your own from 11:30 to 12:45PM. Please see full schedule linked below (PDF) Band Camp 2023-24 Sched
We invite the Band Family, friends and supporters to come out Friday, August 4th at 7:00 PM to see what the Shawnee Mission West Marching Band has learned during Band Camp 2023! Bring your lawn chairs; performance begins at 7:15 PM with Ice Cream Social following at 8:00 PM!

All SMSD Marching Bands will be performing at South Stadium. 5PM call time, 7PM Show.
The premiere marching festival in Kansas, Shawnee Mission West will be performing in Bill Snyder Stadium! Please join us as a spectator or parent volunteer.
Come out and support the Vikings and watch the Shawnee Mission Pride Marching Band, Color Guard and Dance Team perform after the game - and our Band Seniors will be honored at Halftime! Following the game we will perform our marching routine with glow sticks and flashlights!
