Come out and support the Vikings and watch the Shawnee Mission Pride Marching Band, Color Guard and Dance Team perform after the game - and our Band Seniors will be honored at Halftime! Following the game we will perform our marching routine with glow sticks and flashlights!

We are preparing for the upcoming Pancake Breakfast concert on Saturday, February 17. We will also probably talk about the concerts and festivals for the semester, along with the year-end banquet. Please consider joining us so that you can find a way to plug into this incredible group of dedicated parents as they support your students. ALL parents are supporters, we know that, but we do need a few parents who will take on small leadership roles (individually or jointly) to spearhead our efforts to encourage and provide for our students.
Our next Dine-to-Donate is coming up on Feb. 6th, at the Panera location near the school, 75th & Antioch. You can also order online for pickup. This will earn the band 20% of all sales from 8 am - 8 pm. Be sure to show the attached flyer or mention the Fundraiser! Thanks again for supporting the West Band and your students!
All band parents and fans of the band are invited to join us for our BandAides planning meeting, Feburary 6th at 7:00 PM in the West Band Room. We'll be finalizing Pancake Breakfast details and planning the rest of the Band year!
Please Join the Shawnee Mission West Bands for our annual Pancake Breakfast Concert! We'll be serving pancakes in the cafeteria with bands playing all morning in the gym! Tickets will be available at the door.

Friday, April 19 – Jazz on the Bridge The first band (Jazz Lab) plays at 5:45 in the cafeteria. The bridge kicks of at 6:00p. OE plays around 8:30 on the Bridge. Then we are finished around 9:00p. The Rub BBQ will be onsite if you wish to purchase dinner from their food truck. Students: We will set up right after school. If you need lettering points, please plan to hang after school is out for about an hour to an hour and a half
