On August 24th, 9AM to 4PM, We invite to you come to the Ace Hardware on 87th (and Grant or Lackman) for a FREE car wash by the Shawnee Mission West Band, Dance and Flag Teams! All students are fundraising for band equipment, trips and more - and yes, tips are encouraged, but not required.
We all deserve the break, and what better way to treat yourself than not having to cook dinner for the family before heading back to the routine! Join us on Tuesday Sept. 3rd for our first Dine-To-Donate fundraiser of the school year from 8am-8pm, and then you can head over to our Band-Aides meeting :) See the attached flyer for the Lenexa Panera and help us "Raise some dough!" Band parents, friends of the band - please join us as we plan for the next month of performances, games, and more! We'll meet in the band room at 7:00 PM.
Come out and support the Vikings play Olathe West – and watch our Marching Band perform at Halftime! Call time is 4p in the band room. Students should wear black shorts and their band T-shirt as we will change together in the band room. If temperatures are exceedingly hot, we will not wear the uniform, but we will perform in the Band T-shirt, black athletic shorts, black long socks and marching band shoes. 4:30p – depart west 5:00p – rehearse on South FB field 5:30 – dinner is served by the Band Parents to the students and parent roadies […]
