This involves only the Wind Ensemble and Overland Express along with the 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th-grade bands. OE will begin playing by 6:45 so should be in the building by 6:30. The SM West homecoming parade will begin at approximately 1:30 pm in the circle drive of Shawnee Mission West High School.  The parade proceeds down 85th Street to Santa Fe Drive and concludes at Overland Park Elementary School.  Parents and guests are invited to attend or watch along the parade route. Notes from Mr. Thomas: Seniors – The BAW Scholarship Packet and essay are due in the band office first thing Monday morning. Seniors – The Kelsie Smith Scholarship was emailed earlier this past week. Tuesday – We have a pep band for the 8th graders that are coming to visit us at 9:00a.m. There is a sign-up sheet in the front of the band room.
