It was great to see so many of you last night at the marching band exhibition! We have our first Band Aides meeting of the year coming up on Tuesday, August 6th at 7pm in the band room. Good evening, everyone.  Mini-camps; Concerts; Flower Sale information; End of year banquet - and scholarship news! Monday - Drumline Mini Camp.  All percussionists that will be involved with the marching band next year need to be in attendance as we will determine instrument/section placement to is best for both the players and the band.  We will begin at 6p and plan to go to 8p but may finish early. Congratulations to both the Symphonic Band for receiving an Excellent (II) rating and the Wind Ensemble for receiving a Superior (I) rating this past Thursday.   Everyone worked hard and improved immensely!   Great Work!  Congratulations are also in order for the Jazz Lab Ensemble, and Overland Express for amazing performances at the Jazz on the Bridge concert on Friday!    It is always such a treat to see everyone step up to the plate to dig deep within themselves to pull out all the musicality that they have learned over the past 4-8 years.  Way to represent yourselves as well as your school!    Keep it up; we’re not finished yet! First of all, congratulations to the jazz students and parents for a successful and wonderful trip to New Orleans this past weekend.  I am hearing lots of great stories.  I’m so glad that we can provide this opportunity to you to broaden your horizons of jazz history and culture! Band Notes, April 21st 2024

Congratulations to both the Symphonic Band for receiving an Excellent (II) rating and the Wind Ensemble for receiving a Superior (I) rating this past Thursday.   Everyone worked hard and improved immensely!   Great Work!  Congratulations are also in order for the Jazz Lab Ensemble, and Overland Express for amazing performances at the Jazz on the Bridge concert on Friday!    It is always such a treat to see everyone step up to the plate to dig deep within themselves to pull out all the musicality that they have learned over the past 4-8 years.  Way to represent yourselves as well as your school!    Keep it up; we’re not finished yet! First of all, congratulations to the jazz students and parents for a successful and wonderful trip to New Orleans this past weekend.  I am hearing lots of great stories.  I’m so glad that we can provide this opportunity to you to broaden your horizons of jazz history and culture!
