Good Sunday afternoon everyone. Here are some very important notes for the upcoming week. We have our first marching performance – BandAides parents meeting – and our next trip unveiling!
This Week Schedule

Tuesday – No School BUT we do have our normal evening Marching Band rehearsal starting at 6p. We do need some help setting up the backdrops starting at 5:00pm. We will also use the PA system for the first time this season along with taking out all of the pit equipment. We will start with the halftime show at 6:00p working out the backdrop placement, and basic balance of microphones. We will end with running pregame. Dress Up Theme is: Favorite Movie Character.
- Freshmen Roadies – we’d love to have you help us place the equipment on the field to start the rehearsal as well as return it to the storage room at the end of rehearsal. I have registered the students who signed up with me last week. Students – I need $15 from you. BAW paid the rest. If you wish to bring a check, please make it payable to BAW.
Parents you may register yourself since that registration is free. Transportation will be on your own for everyone. Parents, please let Dr. Know if you will be attending. I’d LOVE to have several of our incredible parents partake in this event. I believe this can help us become even better in supporting our students!
New Date for your calendar – Saturday, October 5 – Drumline, Color Guard and Dance Team. We entered you in the Warrensburg Festival of Champions indoor competition (as you requested). It will take place that morning in Warrensburg. I will not know the performance times until a couple of weeks prior. Please make sure this is on your calendar. We will need the equipment trailer, and a few parents/roadies to help move equipment. This could be percussion parents and freshmen roadies.
Hang on! This will be a busy but FUN week!
