School is winding down, but I know there is so much left to accomplish. Hang in there everyone!
Congratulations to the following students for their performances Saturday at the State Solo and Ensemble Festival in Topeka.
Mr. Hupe and I got to hear most of you perform and we agreed that everyone played better here than a couple of weeks ago at Regionals. BRAVO to you and your work! I KNOW you are all better players because of the efforts and time you invested in yourself and your music.

Schedule and Upcoming Events
Marching Percussion Auditions – Tuesday – 6-8p
Lettering Points – I need all of your updates on or BEFORE Wednesday. That is when I turn over the information to Ms. McClusky to prepare all of the details for those students who letter, numeral, or receive a participation certificate for the year. If you need to register your private lessons, concert attendance or a college band camp attendance (last summer), I need that documentation in the next couple of days. Email or provide a printed note please. If you tell me, I may forget. If you are short by 15-20 points, come see Dr. Thomas. There are a few projects that can be completed to earn you some last-minute lettering points in the next week.
Concert Dress for Final concert – For this Spring Concert, students may dress nicely; spring colors are the order of the day. Still no jeans, T-shirts, or tennis shoes please.
North Pizza Jazz – Friday – OE Students should arrive at SMN and meet in the cafeteria by 6:30pm. We warm up at 7:00 and perform at 7:30. All you can eat pizza is available for $7 and this year they have a $2 dessert buffet.
Special Edition Recording – Don’t forget that Will England, webmaster, photographer, content creator is recording an album to be made into a Keepsake LP – that’s a vinyl record for those who don’t know. You can reach out to him directly for details and cost/payment. There is no profit to be made, just a really cool limited edition, recording of our groups at the end of the year. Will can be reached at: webmaster@bandaides.org.

The event will last about two hours.
