At the Spring concert this week, we have captured a clean recording of all the bands, especially those with our Seniors playing, and make a limited edition Vinyl record!

Vinyl Cost Background Information:
For Lathe Cut records (lower volume, more surface noise) we have a couple of options, using “10” units as an example; we can order as many as people are interested in!
- Tangible Format: $495 for 10 copies, $100 estimate for song rights; $595 / 10 = $60 per copy.
- Three week turnaround.
For Pressed records (like you would get from the store, best sound quality) we will be ordering from Mobineko Express. For 10 records the cost breaks down as such:

If we get more than 18 orders, we will break even with pressed records and will be going with that option.
Payment
We will have the final price at the Band Banquet based on quantity, licensing costs, shipping and possible overseas tariffs. Payment can be made by cash, check or credit card. Cards will be billed as ‘W&N Photography’; checks can be made out to William England. Cards can be taken in person or over the phone; checks or cash in-person only at the Band Banquet or after by appointment.

When Will It Be Done?
Tangible Format lathe cut will be 3 weeks for delivery plus shipping, so roughly a month; we should have them by early June. They will be either shipped to you (add $10 please) or you can pick them up from Will England, our digital guy, at his house.
If we make minimums where a Pressed record is viable, Mobineko Express lists 5-8 weeks plus shipping, so roughly 2-3 months. They’re coming in from Taiwan.

Disclaimers:
- The recording is best effort. We’re putting a high-quality recorder and mics front of stage. It worked for Jazz on the Bridge; but it may not be what we want (background noise etc) for a record
- We have never used this pressing plant – or any pressing plant – before. The final record quality is unknown.
- We may have to switch to a direct to disc lathe cut plant, which will change costs slightly, and again, unknown sound quality.
- There is no markup in the costs – you pay exactly your portion of the pressing and music licensing fees. The only extra cost is if you need the album mailed to you.
- Worst case scenario – we can’t get it done; All costs will be refunded.
